Brener’s practice investigates post-apocalyptic futures rooted in a digital world where hand tools are deemed obsolete. Ironically, Brener uses AI technology—the very entity threatening survival—to create spreads that mimic the “emergency kit” multi-compartment forms of the Harbingers.
